MMIT Business Solutions Group has been a family-owned, Iowa-based business for more than 85 years. Originally known as M & M Sales Company, Gilbert Minor founded the company in 1937.
In the early days, Mr. Minor had a simple goal: To sell quality office products at fair prices. He soon realized that his customers also needed excellent, dependable service for their equipment. As the company has grown over the years, we have always tried to be true to Gilbert’s vision.
4 Generations of Local Ownership
We are currently in our 4th generation of Minor family ownership. We are proud to have been a dependable part of the central Iowa business community for the past 85 years. While technology has evolved, our core values have remained the same: Provide quality products; deliver prompt efficient service; and be there when our customers need us.
Technology Simplified
From carbon paper, to typewriters and calculators, to copiers and printers, to the great leap into the digital age, we have played a key role in assisting our customers with adapting to the latest technologies. Ideas and products that once seemed futuristic, are now a key part of everyday business life.
We currently represent print manufacturers that include Canon, Konica Minolta, Lexmark, and Sharp. We also provide a complete array of I/T Services, I/T Support, Cloud Services, and Network Design Solutions. These offerings, coupled with our talented staff, make us a powerful partner for all your office technology needs.

MMIT’s dedication to serving the people of Iowa goes beyond just selling goods and services. We care about our community, and do all that we can to support local businesses and resources.
We are proud participants in the Buy Into The Circle/Look Local First campaign, which aims to improve the economic and social well-being of the Greater Des Moines community. In addition to this, we regularly take part in local recycling programs, charitable organizations, and community events.
